Bringing Carl Sagan’s iconic "Pale Blue Dot" excerpt to life through stop-motion animation was both a creative and technical challenge. The process began with storyboarding, ensuring that each frame visually captured the profound message of Earth's fragility and unity. I handcrafted the set pieces and characters, carefully selecting materials that complemented the theme. Using a controlled lighting setup, I captured each frame with precision, making micro-adjustments to maintain smooth motion. Post-production involved refining the timing, adding subtle effects, and syncing the visuals with Sagan’s narration to create a seamless and emotionally resonant experience. This project was a labor of love, reminding us all of our tiny yet significant place in the cosmos.
